Ice has developed innovative new technology in order to produce ice so
clear that it can appear to be cut crystal. Months of research and
development have resulted in a special process that allows us to
produce high volumes of large sculptures and indivdual table
centrepieces. The quality of our sculptures even in large numbers is
still unmatched by any other company in NSW. |
why is crystal ice
unique?

| Normally
when ice freezes air bubbles become trapped and can form cracks and
fissures making the ice appear cloudy or opaque and not very
attractive. Our crystal ice technology allows us to form perfect
crystal clear ice creating a stunning visual effect and talking piece
which can also be further enhanced by our special lighting units. |
| Quite
simply, anything!!! Our ability is only limited by your imagination. We
have existing product ranges for weddings, birthdays, corporate
events, themed events and catering sculptures, however if you have an
idea in mind which is not represented in any of our designs we will be
more than happy to create some designs based on your ideas. Just let
our staff know what you have in mind and they will be more happy
to help create the perfect sculpture for your event. |
how long do the sculptures
last?

| The
lasting time of the sculpture depends on a numbers of variables
such as; the size of the sculpture, temperature and conditions at
the venue, it usage (whether it is practical or purely visual), however
when
you talk to our staff about booking a sculpture they will go through
the details of the event with you and ensure that the sculpture is made
to the specifications of your function. As every event is different we
do recommend talking to our staff about your particular event needs.
For our large sculptures which are generally made from our
standard blocks (1000mm x 500mm) we normally recommend approximately 6
hours and for our table centrepieces we recommend 5 hrs. |
is there any mess as
they melt?

| No,
all of our sculptures come with their own drip trays in order to catch
all of the water as the sculpture melts. We have a variety of drip
trays to fit all of our sculptures, as they come in many different
shapes and sizes. Our drips trays are not unsightly and have been
designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. We have even recently
developed a new series of table centrepiece drip trays which are
mirrored to
disguise them even more so.

what is the best way to
display a sculpture?
|
| Our
ice sculptures are so visually stunning that they will enhance any
venue. Larger pieces serve well as a central feature while we can
tailor make smaller items to match with your events individual theme.
Specialist lighting can also enhance a sculpture so ask our team for
the best advice and solutions. We also hire plinths to place your
sculpture on. Most of our sculptures can weigh up to 100kg so putting
them on a bar table is not always a good idea. Our plinths have been
specially designed to withstand the weight of the sculpture and they
also contain a 55L bin inside of them which is hidden from sight to
contain all of the water which runs into the drip tray. Our plinths are
available in white or black or you can add your own colour to keep with
your events theme. |
| All
of our sculptures are made from high grade drinking water and arethen
further refined by our special filtration and freezing processes. They
make
excellent catering displays especially for foods best kept cool such as
seafood and fruits. |
| Yes,
we can deliver to anywhere in Australia however we are based in Sydney
so deliveries outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area will attract a
higher delivery and installation charge. Our staff will quote you with
the delivery and installation fee when they discuss your order with
you. Delivery generally starts at $50 for a general sculpture and can
go up depending
on the quantity of sculptures that you order and where they have to go
to. |
